The Grand Forks Dog Training Club holds a variety of AKC affiliated competitive and community events throughout the year.
AKC FastCAT (Coursing Ability Test)
Sept 12, 13, 14, 2025
Up to TWO runs per dog, per day – can be in the same time block.
Lincoln Drive Park - 120 Euclid Ave, Grand Forks, ND 58201. Held in a fully fenced 4' rope net fencing with gates, outdoors on grass with 50-yard run out.
Special Awards:

Turtle Award: Turtle-themed toy and treat package offered for each handicap division for the slowest dog of the weekend. To be eligible, the dog must run no later than 11am Sunday morning.

Hare Award: Hare-themed toy and treat package offered for each handicap division for the fastest dog of the weekend. To be eligible, the dog must run no later than 11am Sunday morning.

Overall Fastest and Slowest Dogs of the weekend: A trophy will be offered for the overall Fastest and Slowest dog in trial.

AKC ACT (Agility Course Test)

Pre-entry closes Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Late or day-of event entries are accepted if runs are available. If after the closing date, contact the ACT Trial Secretary to ensure day-of entry availability. Day-of entries must be received by 8:30 AM.

Therapy Dog Seminar

Pre-registration required. 6-9:00 p.m.
Cost is $25
Event will go over the rules and regulations for certification with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
